Matthew Tenzin
True Home Founder
Boulder / Aspen
Matthew Tenzin is the founder of True Home, a sacred design consultancy in Boulder and Aspen, and is a meditation teacher at DailyFlow.com. As a former Buddhist monk who is now an interior designer, he has a life-long love for the intersection of spirituality and creativity.
Since 2012, he has been a lead designer at Joe McGuire Design, overseeing residential interior design projects around the country. He has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Colorado, was ordained in India by the Dalai Lama, and lived as a monk from 2002-2008, including two years in solitary retreat in a remote wilderness area.
Based upon decades of training in meditation, intuitive arts, energy work and shamanic healing, he has developed the True Home Process, a spiritual and energetic approach to interior design that helps us foster deeper and more meaningful connections with nature, each other and the sacred in everyday life.
